Dear Florida Chapter Membership,

Elections for the Board of Directors are scheduled to take place November 21st, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. during the membership meeting at the Mission Inn and Resort in Howey-in-the-Hills. If you are a current member of the Florida Chapter, you are welcome to vote. Each membership number gets one vote. If two people share one membership number, only the primary member is eligible to vote in person, by proxy, or by mail.

If you are interested in running for a Board of Directors office: Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary, or Treasurer, and want your name to appear on the ballot, please email the NCRS Florida Chapter Secretary, Lynn Berus at lberus@comcast.net by 8:00 AM, October 21st, 2025. Ballots will be created from the responses received and distributed to the Florida Chapter membership by November 1st, 2025.

If you will not be attending the meeting and you would like to vote, your options are:

  • Vote by proxy: Send your signed ballot to the meeting with your membership number clearly written on a sealed envelop and hand-delivered by another member.
  • Vote by mail: Mail the ballot via USPS, postmarked no later than November 10th, 2025.  Contact the secretary for the mailing address.

Election results will be certified and posted by the chapter secretary as soon as every ballot has been verified.  Only Florida Chapter members with dues paid through 2025 are eligible to vote in this election. If you are not sure of your current Florida Chapter membership status, you may contact the NCRS Florida Chapter Membership Co-Chairs, Steve & Ann Torp.  Following is 2025 Florida Chapter election schedule:

  • 10/21/25 8:00 AM: Nominations due to the Chapter Secretary (Lynn Berus)
  • 11/1/25: Ballots distributed to Current Florida Membership
  • 11/10/25 (postmark): Mail-in Ballots due to Chapter Secretary
  • 11/21/25 7:00 PM: BoD elections at Florida Chapter Membership Meeting, Mission Inn, Howey-in-the-Hills, FL.

Dear Fellow Corvette Enthusiast,

The Florida Chapter of the National Corvette Restorers Society (NCRS) is now planning our 47th Annual Florida Winter Regional Event. The three-day event will start on January 15th, 2026 at the American Muscle Car Museum (AMCM) 3500 Sarno Rd. Melbourne, FL. It is a 42-acre modern site with outdoor space to host over 200+ Vendors with large 10’w x 20’l spaces on concrete and grass. The museum contains owner Mark Pieloch’s 40-year collection of 400+ pristine muscle cars, motorcycles and much more.  The museum is not open to the public but hosts numerous non-profit events allowing entrance during those events. This year’s NCRS event will focus on Flight and Open Judging as well as showcasing commercial and individual Corvette vendors. An assortment of popular Food Trucks will be on-site all three days for your dining pleasure. At the end of Friday’s NCRS functions, the AMCM will open the unbelievable 90,000 sqft American Muscle Car Museum to all registered event participants from 4:00-7:00pm as part of the registration fee, and Saturday from 11:00am-3:00pm. NCRS members receive entrance to the museum with their registration. All non-NCRS members are invited to pay an entrance fee of $30, cash, at the museum door. Proceeds go to the local non-profit Florida Wildlife Hospital.

The AMCM is located five minutes off I-95. There are many nearby hotels including 3 with blocks of discounted rooms reserved for our event; the Hilton Rialto, Hyatt Place Melbourne Airport and Doubletree Oceanside all-Suite hotel, See details on flyer or website: fl.ncrs.org. There is an endless assortment of restaurants, entertainment, museums and nearby beaches, the Spaceport, and zoo. Go to the VisitSpaceCoast app for more information. 

 We would be honored if you would consider attending this event. If your club decides to come as a road tour please let us know how many we can expect by 12/20/25. We will set aside spaces in the grassy Corvette Corral field for you. We look forward to hearing from you and seeing you at our 47th NCRS Florida Winter Regional Event.

We hope you will make plans to register your car for our January 14-17, 2026 Event. Registration is open for Flight judging, Sportsman display, and the newly named “Open Class” that replaces Concours judging, with both Stock and Custom divisions. Corvettes through the 2025 model year are eligible. We are ready to help you through any issues you have with signing up. Please register soon. Judges from all over the country are wanting to make their plans. 

For Open Class Judging, registration years has expanded to include 1953 to 2025. Originality is NOT judged, only condition is judged. Must have been born as a Corvette, have an original VIN Tag, and have a title/vehicle registration that states the car is a Corvette (i.e. no kit cars). Trim tag is NOT judged.

Stock Division, includes all cars that are basically stock-appearing (fiberglass, body paint color, etc.) with the hood, doors and trunk closed; wheels and tires may be non-OEM in the Stock Division. Cars with paint color changes are judged in the Custom Division.

Stock Division awards are; NCRS Blue Ribbon Award score 94.0 through 100 and NCRS Red Ribbon Award score 85.0 through 93.9. No award below 85.0.

Open Class Judging Custom Division (Modified Division has been renamed to Custom Division) includes any modified Corvette that does not qualify for the Stock Division.

Custom Division awards are; EMERALD score 94.0 through 100 and RUBY Award score 85.0 through 93.9. No award below 85.0. Custom Division awards will be acrylic trophies and no ribbons will be provided.

Your registration to the 47th Annual Florida Winter Regional, January 14-17 includes all members on the primary member’s registration. It includes a wristband (a $30 value) for each into the American Muscle Car Museum. It also includes entrance into the Welcome Reception (approx. $30 value pp). 

We have 2 Club Road Tours already planning on coming and parking in our Corvette Corral with more expected to follow.

We had a Chapter BBQ, 2 car judging event, and school with over 60 people in attendance on Saturday, September 27th. Can’t wait to see the cars from the BBQ register for the Regional! You won’t want to miss this one!
